Activate HBO Max on Unifi TV

Already registered? Here's exactly how to link your account and switch on your complimentary HBO Max via the MyUnifi app.

Install and open MyUnifi

Install the MyUnifi app from Google Play or the App Store, then tap Open.

Find your Unifi TV login SMS

Open the SMS conversation from 61000 and use the latest message — it contains the Unifi TV User ID and password you'll need later. Keep this password private and don't forward or screenshot it.

Complete OTP verification

Enter the 4-digit OTP sent to your registered email in the MyUnifi app. If it doesn't arrive, tap Resend OTP or "SMS me the OTP".

Open the Account section

From the MyUnifi home screen, tap Account in the bottom navigation.

Select Unifi TV and link the account

Choose the Unifi TV tab, then tap the + icon under Link Accounts.

Choose "Link My Account"

In the Link Account panel, select Link My Account.

Enter your account details

Enter a nickname and your Unifi account number, then tap Confirm.

Check that Max Pack is listed

On Account Details, confirm the account status is Active and Max Pack appears under My Plan.

Activate the complimentary Max add-on

Scroll to My Add-Ons, keep Streaming Apps selected, and tap Activate next to HBO Max Standard Complimentary. Follow the on-screen prompts to finish linking or creating your Max account.

Note: the screens after tapping Activate may differ slightly depending on whether your email already has a Max account — just follow the on-screen prompts to finish linking or creating one.
